On May 17th, Gatecreeper will release their new album, Dark Superstition, via Nuclear Blast Records, the likes of which leads with electrifying lead single, The Black Curtain, and a wicked cover illustration to boast. This new offering proves ready for the live stage as it soars high with driving leads, mid-paced heavy metal tempo, and blood-curling Chase Mason growls to pump up an eager crowd.

Frontman Chase Mason comments on the album:

“Many of the songs incorporate supernatural ideas with my own experiences. But the title itself is a reference to the Superstition Mountains in our home state of Arizona. It’s a beautiful mountain range surrounded by tragedy and legends of hidden fortune.”

He adds:

“It’s about being trapped between living and dying. A soul trapped in purgatory begging to be brought back by a supernatural force.”

Stream The Black Curtain below and pre-order the record via Nuclear Blast.
