The fast-rising UK outfit astound once more as they partner with a powerhouse.
Three years from the celebrated To Decay In A Deathless World and God Complex have now inked a recording deal with the always consistent SharpTone Records. To celebrate the signing, the band now share Salt and Ash — a rip-roaring beatdown of a listen that details very well the physicality of the band's output.
The band comment on the signing:
"We’re thrilled to be working with SharpTone on this release. We have longstanding friendships with other bands on the label and have always been impressed with their vision and the support they’ve extended to our peers. We’re humbled to be part of such an amazing roster of artists and elated to start this new chapter for the band."
God Complex continue:
"Salt and Ash begins with a reprise of the melody from Worthy Host that closed the album. We wanted to show that in one sense we’re picking up exactly where we left off and to tie the new songs to what came before. It was important that we respect our previous body of work but demonstrate that we’re not content to rest on our laurels and retread old ground, which is why the song immediately veers into absolute chaos. The title Salt and Ash evokes a terminus, the emptiness left behind when everything has been destroyed."
