Germany's thrash legends return and have yet to miss a step.
For bands as celebrated as Kreator, it could become easy to phone it in and remain stagnant over the years. They could simply tour in celebration of their album anniversaries and become a nostalgia act, as we've seen many of metal's past greats continue to do. However, they stray from the path of comfort and continue to release top tier efforts almost four decades into their acclaimed existence. Hate Über Alles, the band's new album, arrives on June 3rd via Nuclear Blast Records and is brought to life via the wondrous art of Eliran Kantor, who expands upon the red flag visual identity as a symbol of revolution. Brace for another chapter in thrash excellence with the pummeling title track that Mille Petrozza and co. shared recently.
Frontman Mille Petrozza comments:
"Hate Über Alles reflects the time we’re living in. Everything is really loud and aggressive. The way we communicate has changed, thanks to social media. It causes a lot of imbalance. The world is in a state of disrepair. Life is not harmonic right now, it’s disharmonic… that’s where I was going with the title.”
