The latest from the Swedish black metal outfit comes introduced by a hard-hitting number.
On March 15, 2024, Sweden's Necrophobic will release their 10th full-length album, In The Twilight Grey, via Century Media Records complete with towering artwork by way of Jens Rydén. It comes spearheded by lead single, Stormcrow, the likes of which comes packed with exquisite riffs and slow burning heavy metal passages distinct to that of the band's otherwise blistering aggression.
The band comments on the track:
"'Stormcrow' was one of the first songs written for the new album. The idea was to take the very classic Necrophobic elements and blend them with a slow paced bridge with a strong heavy metal feel. The lyrical theme is about a wounded beast rising from the depths who lays his trust in a winged so called ‘truth sayer.' Maybe we should be careful about letting the stormcrows carry our words to the world…"
