On October 25th, Schammasch will release their new album, The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean, via Prosthetic Records — the second in the avant-garde black metal band's The Maldoror Chants series. Lead single, They Have Found Their Master, introduces the band's experience with an immersive, downright haunting soundscape that shape-shifts and tells its narrative through moving instrumentation.

The band comment on the lead single:

"'They Have Found Their Master' is the looming of a tempest wave closing in, the destructive force of a monolithic wall of water, swallowing everything in its way to culminate in the melodic furiosity of classic 90s black metal towards the end, additionally embellished by Kathrine Shepard's hauntingly beautiful vocal contribution."

Stream They Have Found Their Master below and pre-order the record via Prosthetic.
