Chelsea Wolfe is on the road in celebration of the profound release that is She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She via Loma Vista Recordings, bringing ethereal hymns to stages across North America. The Observatory in North Park San Diego was host to the tour's opening performance, an engaging performance that spoke volumes of the emotional nature of the musician's songcraft.
Whispers in the Echo Chamber, a new standout, kicked off the occasion with a somber thrill elevated by its pounding electronic drums, captivating the many eyes that locked into a stage transformed by the lighting work of John-Michael Schaub.
From there on out, The Observatory remained entranced with several live debuts from Chelsea's latest as well as other notable fan favorites, such as 16 Psyche and The Culling among others. Selections from across the discography got their shine, pleasing fans across the Chelsea Wolfe timeline. The maelstrom of gothic rock, folk, and doom collided to form one powerful wall of sound reflective of the moving lyricism embodied within.
