The Lodge Room in Los Angeles on February 28, 2024:

The Holocene Tour has just seen its end and The Ocean have cemented themselves so much further as one of contemporary prog's most consistent ensembles. Holocene (2023) itself is an intensive listen that never ceases to amaze throughout its runtime of shape-shifting dynamics, so one could safely assume that its live rendition would be just as grand.

We documented the band's tour stop at The Lodge Room in Los Angeles and confirmed that assumption for your viewing pleasure.

Frontman Loïc Rossetti commanded the stage with fervent passion, walking onto the crowd and standing firm above all in the hands of the excited fans in close proximity to him. Vibrant strobes, smoke, and intermittent moments of darkness offered a great visuals to the standout musicianship on display. Each member breathed new life into a record already spacious and immersive enough to amaze anyone keen for an introspective listen. Our extensive photo gallery, which you can find below, captures the excellence of The Ocean on a celebratory tour to remember.
