UC Theatre in Berkeley, CA on October 17, 2024:

In a year of endless, top-tier tours, a select few were truly memorable for their emotional and musical significance. The Black Dahlia Murder's co-headlining Beg To Serve trek with Dying Fetus was among those as it marked the band's live celebration of Servitudethe band's first full-length record since the passing of frontman, Trevor Strnad, in 2022. As such, it was a heartfelt celebration of the band's resilience and a sold-out UC Theatre in Berkeley met their high octane energy.

With an opening slate of bands consisting of Spite, Angelmaker, and Vomit Forth, the place was rampant with violence early on, setting the stage for moving Black Dahlia and Dying Fetus performance to follow. Riffs, grooves, and bodies flew above the crowded sea of eager fans and the Brian Eschbach-led unit delivered big with a career-spanning setlist that pleased fans new and old.

Black Dahlia's excellence was on a pedestal throughout the night with nostalgia in full effect at the greatness that is their discography. Our pictures are only part of the thrilling story that was the Beg To Serve tour, and we're honored to host them here for your viewing pleasure. Long live Trevor Strnad, and long live The Black Dahlia Murder.

Servitude is available now via Metal Blade Records (Listen).
