Italian black metallers THE SCARS IN PNEUMA are set to deliver their debut album The Path Of Seven Sorrows on February 8th, 2019 via Promethean Fire and Kolony Records. In addition to announcing the record, the band unveil the The Fire at Night painting by Francisco Goya (1794) that will be fronting the record, as well as the lead single Spark To Fire To Sun. THE SCARS IN PNEUMA, consisting of vocalist/guitarist/bassist Lorenzo Marchello, guitarist Francesco Lupi, and Daniele Valseriati, began as Marchello's solo project and later evolved into a full on band when Lupi and Valseriati came on board. This Italian black metal trio take on emotional themes surrounding personal demons, regret, and the loss of loved ones, all while delivering a serene form of melodic black metal with hints of doom and death metal, making for a quite enjoyable listen.
The Path Of Seven Sorrows was recorded at Elfo Studio in Tavernago (PC), Italy and mixed and mastered at Goblin Studio in Piacenza, Italy with Daniele Mandelli taking charge of responsibilities.
