On October 25th, trauma ray will release their debut album, Chameleon, via Dais Records — a culmination following years of growth since their self-titled EP (2018) and a live performance consistency earning them great praise throughout the Texas underground and beyond. The Forth Worth shoegaze outfit introduce the affair with the melancholic Bishop, which expands upon their strong musicianship with a massive wall of sound led by a three guitar attack and strong attention to atmosphere.

Frontman Uriel Avila comments on the lead single:

“I grew up in a pretty religious setting. Sin, guilt, and penance have always been themes that have stuck with me since a very young age. The fear of hell and fire was instilled in me when I was in my most malleable state and the lyrics to this song tie to that period of my life."

Stream Bishop below and pre-order the album via Dais Records.
